Do you really have 30 - 60 local events every month?
Yes. In the beginning stages of a new location there might be as few as 30,events. As the club grows we have between 30-60 events per month.

Why is E&A such a great place for singles to meet new people and have fun?
Events And Adventures is the best way to make friends without the pressure of dating. Every one of our events is planned by one of our professional event coordinators. These staff members specialize in introducing everyone to each other and making everyone feel comfortable.

I've heard that Internet dating and chat rooms are today's ways of meeting singles.
While meeting people on the Internet is cheap, easy and non-threatening, there are so many drawbacks. For instance, when someone posts a picture of him/herself on the Internet you never know how current that photo may be. Some people have been known to post photos that are not even of themselves! At Events and Adventures we firmly believe that there will never be a better way to meet people than live and in person. When you are sharing a fun experience like rafting, dinner or a night at the theater with someone, you see them as they really are - not a distant stranger typing words on a screen. Besides, in today's world how safe is it to go somewhere alone with a stranger that you met on the Internet? E&A provides you with a safe, group setting in which to meet people. It is true that with the aid of the Internet, you can travel all over the world but the fact is, you are still all by yourself staring at your computer.

Why do people join?
People join for any number of reasons. Some people have recently moved to a new city and just don't know many locals. Some are starting over after having been in a serious relationship. Others find that they are so busy with their careers that they don't have much time to meet people outside of work. Still others find that all their friends are either married or involved in serious relationships. Some just want the opportunity to explore new relationships without the pressures of dating. It really doesn't matter why you decide to join as long as you want to meet singles and participate in fun activities.

What kinds of people join Events And Adventures?
Typically our members are professional people who are proactive in their social lives, but do not have the time or avenues they once had to meet other singles. One thing they all have in common is that they are all single people who want to meet other single people while having fun.

Do people join by themselves?
Almost EVERYONE joins by themselves, usually because the majority of their friends are married, live in different parts of the country, or don't always have the same interests they have. Members never have to worry about being the only "new person" at an event because E&A is enrolling new members every day.

Do the events have a fee?
While some events are free there is a fee for most. The fee varies according to what kind of event you are attending. Our events run the gamut from bowling to African Safaris and everything in between. The cost of the event is dependent upon which events you select to attend.

Do you have to be single?
Yes! You must be single.
